KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS PROGRAM @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

Kashmir, which is regarded as the crown of snow to the Mother India, is the main reason for the war between Pakistan and India.  The Jawans of India were ever accessible to protect the crown, which is a décor, from being lost into the hands of the Pakistanis in the Kargil war even by sacrificing their lives. Homage was paid to the great Jawans for their unending efforts at Aditya Degree College, recollecting the terrific situations during the war, on 26^th July, 2019 under the organization of the NSS teams. The Academic Director, Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu adorned the Mother India with a garland. Speaking on the occasion he said that it has been 20 years ago, where in 1999 the Kashmir tried to occupy SIACHEN an area in Kashmir. But the Indian Jawans effectively defeated and handed over the place successfully after a 60days struggle under the operation VIJAY. He also stated that their sacrifice is unforgettable and advised the youngsters of today to become responsible Jawans to the Country. To create awareness among the society a rally was organized raising the slogans “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan” by the students. The Academic Director, Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu, Sri Ch.V.V.Satyanarayana, the Vice Principal, Sri T.Tejeswararao, Sri L.Diwakararao, NSS officers, the faculty and the students participated in the rally.
