National Sports Day 2019 The birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand,National Sports Day was celebrated on 29 August as a tribute to the player in the campus. Major Dhyan Chand was a phenomenal hockey player. To boost sport spirit & the sports scenario among the students a lot of sports and events were conducted.  The activities exhibited by the primary classes with ball and ring were exciting. The first spell of PE curriculum were held to the students and were appreciated with certification & prizes.

ECO FRIENDLY VINAYAKA CELEBRATIONS:

Vinayaka chaturdhi was celebrated in great pomp and show, Children of all classes participated in the celebrations chanted Lord Ganesha slokams and mantras.The significance of the festival was enacted through a play.Students displayed idols of Lord Ganapti. Primary Principal K.Lakshmi Devi motivated the students to spread the awareness programme – celebrate the festival with the Eco Friendly Vinayaka idols to prevent the environment from pollution. The best idols were given appreciation certificates. VENKATESWARA RAO (ABN Reporter) one of the parent supported the idea and distributed eco friendly vinayaka to all the staff of the school.
