MAHATMA GANDHI AND LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI BIRTH CELEBRATIONS @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

150^th birth anniversary of Gandhiji and the 115^th birth anniversary of Sri Lal Bahadur Sastri was celebrated at Aditya Degree College. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was an Indian lawyer, anti-colonial nationalist and political ethicist, who employed nonviolent resistance to lead the successful campaign for India’s independence from British Rule. Lal Bahadur Shastri was the 2nd President of India and a senior leader of the Indian National Congress political party. He joined the Indian independence movement in the 1920s.Aditya Degree & P.G.Courses, Academic Director, Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu, on this occasion festooned the portraits of Mahatma Gandhiji & Lal Bahadur Shastri and called upon the youngsters that they should Know the life history of such great personalities who sacrificed their lives for the country.
