शत्रुबुद्धिविनाशाय दीपज्योतिनमोऽस्तुते ॥

Diwali, the most awaited festival of lights is celebrated with great vehemence in an eco-friendly way at Aditya School, Narsapuram.

The event started with planting saplings and the distribution of plants to children as trees play a vital role in absorbing all the gases released due to burning crackers.

Mr. Md.Abdul Bari, Forest Section Officer, Narasapuram Range, graced the occasion and motivated the students to plant trees and take care of them. He was kind enough to arrange all the plants distributed to the students. Sri S.Siva Kota Prasad, Principal, Aditya Junior College, Narasapuram, planted trees in the campus along with students.

All children from LKG to Class X blissfully participated in the event by decorating their classrooms in various ways.

Principal Mr.A.N.S.S.K.Prasad, visited each and every class and lit the diyas arranged by children and bestowed them with diwali wishes.

Sky lanterns were released, one each by teachers of all classes amidst jubilant screams of students.

All these events were organised in a synchronous manner to make children realise how diwali can be celebrated in a mirthful way without harming the environment.

Children left to their homes with great euphoria even though no crackers were used.
