NSS SPECIAL CAMP DAY -2 VILLAGE SURVEY & SELF DEFENCE FOR GIRLS

A DOOR TO DOOR SURVEY and A PROGRAM ON AWARENESS ON SELF DEFENCE FOR WOMEN had been conducted by NSS volunteers of Aditya Degree College, Kakinada on the second day of the camp at Komaragiri, Nagampeta, Anandanagaram, Kamannagaaripakala villages. A Door to Door Survey program was started by Panchayati members Sri.K.Chantibabu, Sri.K.Nookaraju; School Headmaster Sri.D.Vaadapalli, Teachers Sri.V.V.S.Sastri, Smt.Raniratnam and was participated by the Villagers. The Survey had been conducted on Eye & Dental problems, about the usage of organic fertilizers, proper construction and utilization of Toilets, utilization of plastic, hazards of smoking and drinking, importance of women and child welfare, wealth from waste etc. The program officers of the village said that the DOOR TO DOOR SURVEY was very helpful to know the status of the villages and the report would be handed over to the elders of the village on the last day. Later, a training program was conducted on the self protection for Women by Biruda Nagadevi, Taekwondo National Champion. Academic Director Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu said that the third day of the camp will be on Free Eye camp and awareness program on Organ donation.  The NSS program Coordinator of Adikavi Nannaya University Dr.B.Kejiarani; The Chairman of Aditya Educational Institutions Sri.N.Sesha Reddy, Secretary, Sri N.Krishna Deepak Reddy, Academic Director Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu and Vice-Principal Sri.Ch.V.V.Satyanarayana appreciated the NSS team of Aditya Degree College. The NSS program officers Sri.T.Tejeswararao, Sri L.Diwakararao, Panchayat memebers Sri M.Somaraju, Sri Rayudu Rambabu, Rayudu Srinivas, V.Subrahmanyam, NSS Volunteers and school children participated in the camp.
