Aditya Degree College for Women was established in the year 2000. After establishing Co-ed College in 1998 the management of Aditya Educational Institutions felt that there was a need to have a separate degree college for women. This is a move to fulfill the desires and aspirations of the parents of the girls in and around East Godavari districts. There is a huge acclaim and satisfaction among the parents of the girl students.

The management that in some situations girls may not be able to excel themselves in Co-ed colleges. In Aditya Degree College for Women, students are free to express their ideas and doubts. The faculty members always strive hard to cater to the needs of the students. Strict discipline is implemented among the students. Delicious food and congenial accommodation is provided to them.

The girl students with satisfactory zeal and enthusiasm excelled themselves and secured many ranks in the university examinations. Many campus interviews were held in the campus by reputed MNC'S. Large number of students got selected. Sometimes they even suppress boys in culture and fluency in English Communication. In co-curricular and extracurricular activities there are many achievements by the girls. In CET examinations for Post Graduate courses many students bagged top 10 ranks.
