FRESHERS DAY CELEBRATIONS@ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN,KAKINADA.

Aditya Degree College For Women, Kakinada conducted Freshers day celebrations for the first year degree students. The celebrations was arranged for the students at the auditorium of Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada. The programme was presided over by the Chairman of Aditya Educational Institutions Sri N. Sesha Reddy and the secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions Sri.N.Krishna Deepak Reddy supervised the programme.Sri,Prakash Jaya dev,IPS,Commandant 3^rd APSP Kainada Chief Guest of this function. Coordinator of Aditya Degree Colleges Sri.B.E.V.L.Naidu and Principal of Aditya Degree College For Women Smt.K.Karuna also involved in this programme.

In that programme Chairman of Aditya Educational Institutions Sri N. Sesha Reddy said that Fresher’s Day is a welcome party to newcomers and there is a need to be friendly and motivate juniors. Every year it is a customary in our ADITYA COLLEGE FOR WOMEN to celebrate the Fresher’s Day. The aim of conducting this day is to make the juniors feel welcome and to interact with them. The new academic year brings happiness and joy with the arrival of the juniors. To welcome them to the department and make them feel at home, the institute organizes a ‘Fresher’s Day’, giving the new comers a step towards their graduation from the schooling days. “A hundred new faces, but a million dreams” is what this occasion can be best described as. Welcoming these hundred odd a bright faces to an unchartered ocean of knowledge…fear and anxiety are bound to creep into these novice minds.

In that programme the secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions Sri.N.Krishna Deepak Reddy opined that Fresher’s Day at ADITYA sees an amalgamation of students from various walks of life, from various regions of the country with a common goal. It’s a subtle effort to make their celebrations big, nurture their dreams and deliver words of wisdom. The college realizes the importance of this day in the life of a fresher and takes this as an opportunity to make them feel at home, even though away from home, to imbibe in them the faith that they are not alone.

The chief guest of this programme Sri. Prakash Jaya Dev,IPS,Commandant 3^rd APSP, Kainada said that The event provides a platform for the Freshers interact with the other senior students of the college and to showcase their talents to the larger audience. It is also called as the orientation day. Coordinator of Aditya Degree Colleges Sri.B.E.V.L.Naidu addressed to students and he said that You have stepped into this college with fresh thoughts, noble aims, high hopes and aspirations. I assure you that your ambitions will be accomplished by the successful guidance of our beloved lecturers.

Principal of Aditya Degree College For Women Smt.K.Karuna opined.I congratulate all of you for having secured a seat in this College.. This is the first steptowards fulfillment of your dreams and for the three years that you are here, we hope, that you cangather the best of knowledge and experience.For most of you, this might be the first time that you are away from home. You might face problems trying to adjust to the new environment; I assure you that the teachers of our college are available and you can freely discuss your problems with them.

The day begins with the welcome, invocation, blessings from the almighty, address by the Secretary chairman, chief guest,Coordinator,Principal, experiences from couple of senior students, vote of thanks, followed by lunch.
