Thumping victory of ADITYA in Essay writing competition conducted by All India Students Federation

Kakinada wing of All India Studetns Federation conducted an essay writing competition on a burning social problem of “Atrocities on Women Preventive Speps”. As per the information given by Smt K. Karuna, Principal Adtiya Degree College for Women, Kakinada in the competition conducted among intra city colleges of Kakinada, Kum V. Thrupathi Vijaya a 1st year B.Sc student of Aditya Degree College for Women, Kakinada, in Kakinada town area, got 1st prize whereas M. Nagasanthoshimatha bagged 2nd prize at college level.

In this connection Smt Karuna inspired the students to actively participate in extra curricular activities as it gives an impetus for building up courage, discipline and firm determination besides enhancing the confidence levels. It is an ancient adage that the “celestials bless the society with peace where women are respected”. The present day woman is fully competent and efficient to mould the future by motivating to seek redressal Abhaya and Nirbhaya acts when attrocities take place on women.

Sri B.E.V.L. Naidu, Academic co-ordinator of Aditya Degree and P.G. Colleges said that inspite of many odds faced by women, Mother Theressa, Kasthuribai, Sarojini Naidu, Durgabai Deshmukh, Indira Gandhi and Kiran Bedi excelled in their respective fields usurping the male domination in the society. With a fond hope that when the living conditions of the women are protected the society prospers, Constitution has provided certain rights and enacted laws like prevention of Dowri, Right to property, Safety in employment. As long as there is no mind set, no act can relieve the agony . Every one should not forget that his existence in the world is due to giving him a birth by lady only. While stressing the role of a lady and discussing on the prominence and significance in society.
