            AURA 2014-15 the commerce students meet of Aditya Degree Colleges was organized at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada.

The Chief guest of the function, the Head of the Department of Management Studies, AU MSN PG Centre, Prof. Kuberudu gave details about the present market opportunities for the Commerce studies and opined that this is high time that the students aim high for getting good jobs. He said that students should be strong with their basic commerce concepts. He also appreciated by saying that Aditya Degree Colleges have been very special to him and the way they got flourished in the marked he has been observing them and appreciating their efforts. On this occasion he said that the students should have three ‘C’s with them. First ‘C’ is ‘Conceptual knowledge’ second ‘C’ is ‘Clarity of Concepts’ and third ‘C’ is ‘Commitment’.

The guest of honour Shri NK Deepak Reddy on this eve, recollected a real time situation in his life where his communications skills were initially poor and later with the experience his expertise improved. He gave a call to the students to improve their communication skills. Shri Deepak Reddy on this occasion opined that if students like something and put their efforts, it will become easy for them to touch the success. He appreciated the efforts of Commerce department of Aditya Degree Colleges for arranging the AURA 2014-15 in such a great way.

On this occasion, the president of the function and Academic Coordinator of Aditya Degree and PG Colleges, Shri BEVL Naidu opined that any company or firm cannot see the future without the commerce specialist. He also said that in order to share the skill sets of the B.Com students with other students of other degree colleges, the AURA 2014-15 has been arranged. The skills sets of the students will come out only when they conduct such programmes.

The Principal of Aditya Degree College for women Smt. K. Karuna congratulated the AURA event organizers and opined that the students are doing a great job by organizing such events. The Vice Principal of Aditya Degree College Dr. Maniprakash said on this occasion, the expertise gained out of experience will be quiet useful.

The Chief Guest of the function Prof. Kuberudu and the Guest of honour Shri NK Deepak Reddy and other dignitaries on the dais released the Commerce Students souvenir “AEGIS” on this occasion. The Secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions, Shri NK Deepak Reddy handed over a memento to the Chief Guest of the function Prof.  Kuberudu on behalf of Aditya Educational Institutions.

Commerce Department of Aditya Degree College, AURA 2014-15 conducted several events named Grandiloquens (Elocution), Fusillade (Quiz), Panoply(Power Point presentations), Sensibility (Picture description & Quote description), Panache (Add making), Transmogrify (Anagram), Vie (Debate), Extempore (Group discussion) and the winners were given with prizes and certificates. The rolling shield was awarded to Aditya Degree College, Rajahmundry.

AURA 2014-15 Valedictory function was presided over by the Academic Coordinator Shri BEVL Naidu. On this eve, he opined that the commerce students will get practical exposure through these events. So, by arranging the events like AURA 2014-15 the managerial capacities of and the organizing skills will come out and it will be quiet useful for their future. Students on their own are conducting this programme which will give them real time experience he added. He also gave details regarding the Campus Recruitment Training given to the students of Aditya Degree College without disturbing the university curriculum. He gave details regarding the AURA 2014-15 and said that this state level event AURA 2014-15 a total of 200 students participated from 11 colleges across the state. B.Com (Computers) course is being run prestigiously at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada. He also said that programmes such of these become guidelines for others to follow in near future.

The programme was also participated by the Principal, Aditya Degree College for women, Smt. K. Karuna, the head of the department of Commerce & Management Smt. Suma, Shri Sada siva Rao and other faculty members of Commerce Department and the student organizers of AURA 2014-15 Mr. Vineesh, Mr. Vikram Varma, Ms. Hyma, Mr. Venkatesh, Ms. Neha, Ms. Viraajita, Ms. Bhargavi and the Vice Principal of Aditya Degree College, Dr. A. Maniprakash.
