Use clay Ganesha and Save Environment – Shri BEVL Naidu

The Academic Coordinator shri BEVL Naidu said that Aditya Degree College students took a procession and distributed clay idols of Ganesha for free to the public through NSS student volunteers. Speaking on this occasion Shri Naidu said that Ganesh Chaturdhi is an auspicious occasion to save the tanks and rivers of the surroundings by following few said scientific principles rather than just changing the meanings of the rules.

He gave a call to the students to spread the message of benefits of using clay idols and on this occasion he received a clay idol through the hands of the students. He opined that by following the rules and regulations of the festival several tanks and he also throw some light on the topics like different kinds of pollution occur due to the activities we do during the festival.

On the occasion of World Ozone day a seminar was conducted for the degree students by the Vice Principal Dr. Maniprakash and on this occasion he gave details of the Ganesh chaturdi and it’s beneficial impacts and also gave various examples where human is using ozone depleting substances. He gave a call to use the non ozone depleting substances which will reduce impact on the ozone layer.

The NSS programme officers of Aditya Degree College Shri T. Tejeswara Rao and Shri L. Divakara Rao and NSS student volunteers participated in the programme.
