A unique performance of students  belonging to Aditya Degree College to for Women, Kakinada in the competitions conducted in connection with District Library week.Smt K. Karuna, Principal of Aditya Degree College for Women, Kakinada stated that in connection with library week, the students exhibited their talent in the competitions conducted and came out successful in flying colours.
Participation in the literary and the fine arts programmes unearth the inherent potentialities of the students and it is an appropriate platform to exhibit their talent. Aditya Degree Colleges advocate the above doctrine and nurture the students as multi-dimensional persons to serve the society in an omni- directional way. The libraries are the effective tools to enhance their competence of youth and they stand as torch bearers to unfold the scientific and social changes in the present day society.
48th year of library week is conducted with splendour in East Godavari District Library, Kakinada. In this connection many competitions are conducted with active participation of students. Kum.Vasanthi,Kum.Vanessa and Kum.Maha Lakshmi second year students of B.Sc got 1st ,2nd and 3rd prizes in Drawing Competittion, The prize winners are congratulated by Secretary Sri N.K. Deepak Reddy, and Director Smt N. Suguna Reddy of Aditya Educational Institutions, Kakinada. Academic Co-ordinator Sri B.E.V.L. Naidu said that libraries which are classified as repositories of knowledge and termed as sacred temples for wisdom should not be allowed to be ignored in the context of rapid globalisation and computerisation and it is the bounden responsibility to preserve the sanctity. While congratulating the prize winners he exhorted the students that by going through the News Papers and Books a man can shapen his abilities and improve his level of competence.
