VANAM – MANAM PROGRAMME @ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN,Kakinada.

The Principal of Aditya Degree College For Women,Kakinada.Smt.K.Karuna said that NSS students of Aditya Degree College For Women,Kakinada  conducted VANAM-MANAM programme at 7,8,9 wards of the college premises.and they distributed 1600 plants in one day successfully.Under the guidelines of Honourable Chief Minister Sri N.Chandra Babu naidu and Adivkavi Nannaya University as a part of Green Andhra Pradesh Vanam Manam Program successfully started on 29-07-2016.

On the Occasion,Academic Co-ordinator of Aditya Degree&PG colleges Sri.B.E.V.L.Naidu said that Trees should be regularly planted to save the mankind and the animal world. Tree plantation and its after-care is a pleasing work too. We can get much pleasure in planting trees and in taking care of them. Students should plant trees in their college-compounds and in the front-yards, backyards and side-yards of theircolleges and near their own houses and in other places wherever possible. They should explain to their neighbours the goodness of tree-plantation and encourage them to plant and care new trees.

The Principal of Aditya Degree College For Women,Kakinada.Smt.K.Karuna opined that Trees do many things for human being, they seem beautiful and it keeps the air clean, reduce the harshness of the weather and help to eliminate toxic gases. There are many types of trees that benefit us. Air, water and soil pollution can be eliminated by the growth of trees.
