ECO FRIENDLY GANESH CHATURTHI
GaneshChaturdhi falls on 5th of this September. It is one of the most important festivals of Hindus. people install Ganesh idols under the pondals and worship them all the nine days.On the last day, they take theidols in procession through the streets with pomp and gaiety to the river side for immersion. But the idols made of plaster of paris using artificial colours are not eco friendly. They pollute the water.
Aditya school, palakollu strives to put an end to this practice.So, it conducted a rally with eco friendly Ganesh idols made by the little hands through the streets of palakollu main.The students and the teachers of the school participated in it distributing phamphlets and idols to the shoppers and the local V.I.P s. The director of the school Sri S. V.Raghava Reddy garu flagged off the rally and the principal of the school Sri K. Sai Krishna garu led the rally successfully.
