A State Level Computer Science Event

iTrends-2K18 A State Level Computer Science event was organized on 25^th July, 2018 at SNR Function Hall, Simhachalam by the Department of Computer Science, Gopalapatnam. Prof. P.S. Avadhani, Principal, A.U. College of Engineering was invited as esteemed Chief Guest whose words mesmerised the audience who wanted to listen to him more and more. Shri. Shivaraman Bhaskar K, Sr. HR Manager, Conduent Business Services India LLP and Sri. Ignes Varghese, Development Manager, Conduent Technology Services India were invited as Guests of Honour. Their words were also very inspiring for the students. Shri. B.E.V.L. Naidu garu presided over the function. Mementoes were given to all the dignitaries as tokens of gratitude. In the morning session various competitions like PPT, Poster Presentation, Brain Teaser, Insta Pro and Guess Me were conducted for students. 250 students from 25 colleges participated with great enthusiasm and interest in all these competition. A sumptuous lunch was provided to all the participants. In the afternoon session prizes were given away to all the winners in various competitions. Prizes were also given to students who have shown their merit in academics and have good attendance. Around 20 cultural performances were given post prize distribution which showcased the talent of our students. All the memories of the State Level Computer Science Event were captured in camera and we got the opportunity to have a good media coverage for the event which was telecasted on T.V. in the evening of the same day. Overall the event was a nice experience for each and everyone.
