JANMASTAMI AT ADITYA GOKUL @APSJKP

Janmastami was celebrated with all devotion and pomp at our school. Children came dressed in, as Krishna and Radha and others colourful outfits. Students of different classes donned the roles of Lord Krishna and Gopikas amongst many characters related to Janmastami. Students won the soul of spectators by dressing in the attire of Krishna, Gopikas and various characters and enacting their respective roles perfectly. The pranks of Lord Krishna marked the event more fun and frolic.

At the centre of the stage the cute Radha Krishna pairs danced to the beats of Janmastami songs filling the air with joy and festive spirit. The exuberant students depicted their devotion and in the form of slokas, Geethas and classical dances which mesmerized the gathering and sprinkled magical mantra.

The exiting kids enthusiastically had a gala time in breaking the butter pot event and won the wondrous hidden prizes in it. The whole school echoed with cheers of the young Adityans for the entire hilarious pot breaking show. The students of Std.X enacted a drama ‘Birth of Srikrishna’with diverse Leelas of Sri Krishna, Illustrating the fact that whenever there will be dominance of malevolence. ‘He’ will reincarnate to destroy the evil and save the good.

 Children who excelled in colouring and Essay writing competitions which are conducted by ISKCON were prized. On this Joyful and devotional occasion Principal Smt.B.Supraja Rani shared that celebrating festivals helps children understand our rich cultural heritage and build religious tolerance and also made awareness about Indian tradition, custom and culture. She opined that it appeared  as if Aditya Jkpur turned into Gokul for short while where Lord Krishna had spent his childhood. The program concluded with the blessings of Lord Krishna.
