Krishnastami Celebrations @ Aditya G.Mamidada

Janmashtami festival was celebrated with great zeal and pomp by the children at Aditya School, G.Mamidada. The celebrations started with the lamp lighting and followed by pooja, mantras were chanted by High School Maths faculty Gopal Krishna Sir. Children of primary section sang songs, chanted mantras, performed dance and skits about the significance of Lord Krishna. Speaking on this occasion Principal Mr. V.Rajesh quoted that children should habituate the qualities of Lord Krishna who always acts for the sake of the world. The Students of LKG and UKG dressed up as Lord Krishna, Radha and Gopikas in colourful outfits. The celebrations were witnessed by the parents. Little children drew everybody’s attention with their cute looks and expressions. Parents actively participated in lighting up the lamp and questionnaire program. Later prizes were distributed to the winners of Iskon Competition and for the parents for their impressive performance in the questionnaire.  Finally the celebrations ended by the Dahi-Handi ceremony. Students acitively participated in this activity by forming pyramids and grabbed all the fun.
