INTERNATIONAL LITERACY DAY @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

8 September was declared International literacy day by UNESCO on 26 October 1966. Its aim is to highlight the importance of literacy to individuals, communities and societies. Speaking on the occasion Sri Naidu said that the International Literacy Day is an occasion to give hope to the millions of women, men and children who cannot read or write even their own names. Part of this program Sri Naidu distributed Note Books & Stationary for the poor children. He also appreciated NSS volunteers of Aditya Degree College for conducting evening classes to the poor children. Sri N.Sesha Reddy, Chairman, Sri N.Krishna Deepak Reddy, Secretary, Aditya Educational Institutions appreciated NSS volunteers for conducting this program.
