CHEMION-2K19 – THE SECOND STATE LEVEL GRANDEUR TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM AT ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

The second State level Grandeur Technical Symposium, namely, CHEMION – 2K19 was organised by the department of Chemistry at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada on 9^th Feb.2019. The programme was organised by the collective efforts of the Chemistry students of both PG and UG Courses. The programme started with the Jyothi Prajwalan and a prayer song. Speaking on the occasion Sri.B.E.V.L.Naidu the Academic Coordinator and the Convenor of the programme stated that around 350 students from 15 different Colleges had participated in the symposium to exhibit their creative works. He also stated that Aditya has not only gained importance for the Degree Courses but also for the PG Courses opted by the management where the laboratories were designed with the latest equipments enabling the students to learn the techniques that are mere important and necessary for their further placements. He said that apart from the academics Aditya is always there to create a platform for developing the hidden talents of the students.

The chief guest Dr.RAMAN V.V.S NADURI, CEO, ANALYS LABORATORY, HYDERABAD had presented a seminar on ‘CAREER ORIENTATION IN PHARMA INDUSTRY’ to create awareness among the students regarding the new technologies and methodologies in research under Analytical and Organic Chemistry. He also explained the students about the Job opportunities in different group aspects of Chemistry. Later he viewed the projects presented and displayed by the students on Chemistry. The Chief Guest of the valedictory function Dr.B.JAGANMOHAN REDDY, CAMPUS PLACEMENT COORDINATOR AND HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY, ADIKAVI NANNAYA UNIVERSITY had presented a seminar on ‘Interface between organic synthesis and analytical techniques’ in building up of the human life. He also stated that Chemistry plays a major role in the development of human life and gave a call to the students to use it for building up a healthy society.  Many competitions like Poster Presentation, model projects on chem, and puzzle-chemriddle were organized by the organisers of Chemistry Department.    

On this occasion Sri N.Sesha Reddy, Chairman, Sri N.Krishna Deepak Reddy, Secretary, Aditya Educational Institutions, appreciated the Chemistry Department. Principals Sri Ch.V.V.Satyanarayana, Smt.K.Karuna, In charge Sri N.Murthy, Chemistry faculty Sri K.Suresh kumar, Sri K.Nagu, Sri Krishna and students participated in this event.
