DIWALI CELEBRATIONS 2018 @APSSRI

Diwali has been celebrated at Aditya, Srinagar on 06/11/2018 with merriment under the guidance of the principal Smt. M. Ramani and Vice Principal Smt. N. Sridevi Reddy. The celebrations were conducted in two spells in the morning for the classes LKG – III and afternoon from IV – X. The celebrations have been inaugurated with the igniting of lamp by Smt. N. Sruthi Reddy director of Aditya Education institutions. Speaking on this occasion she said, Diwali symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. Farhana Banu and P. Reethu Visalakshi of VI std spoke about the importance of Diwali and how it is celebrated. The Bhaskara group students U.L Harshitha and Vedahitha explained the chemical compositions of Diwali fire works and the scientific principles hidden in Diwali crackers. Later the students performed a prayer dance with lights inviting Goddess Lakshmi. Principal Smt. M. Ramani suggested the students to celebrate this Diwali as a noise free Diwali. She also explained the students the mythological and logical reasons hidden behind the celebration of Diwali. She also told then some safety measures to be taken while burning crackers. Wishing the young minds on the occasion Vice principal Smt.N. Sridevi Reddy said “Let us Celebrate this Diwali as an Eco Friendly Diwali”. Later the students fired the crackers bubbling with joy.
