“The program was commenced with a soulful prayer, setting a calm and respectful tone for the day. It was followed by noteworthy words of the Principal, Mr. T. Ramesh, who enlightened the young minds about the significance of International Yoga Day. He highlighted the ancient origins of yoga and emphasized its countless benefits for the body, mind, and soul, encouraging students to embrace it as a lifelong practice for well-being and inner peace.
The students’ gathering was flawless and disciplined. The campus stretched far and wide, Wrapped in serene tranquility. Under the guidance of the instructors, students were briefed about the breathing exercises, including Pranayama and bhastrika. The session then continued with a series of sitting and standing asanas such as Padmasana, Baddha Konasana, Vajrasana, Janushirasana, Padahasthasana, Tadasana, and Garudasana, virabhadrasana promoting physical flexibility and mental calmness.The program concluded on a peaceful note with a closing prayer, leaving everyone with a sense of calm and renewed energy.
