ANTI CHILD LABOUR DAY PROGRAM @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

“Children shouldn’t work in fields, but on dreams” – with this motto

an awareness program on the Anti Child Labour Day, was organized as a part of NSS at Aditya Degree College with the cooperation of Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu, Academic Director, Aditya Degee & P.G.Colleges. Speaking on the deliberate issue Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu stated that the subtle hands of the children should carry books rather than the utensils to work. Many children are being turned out as child labours due to poverty and the other family issues in our Country mainly. Such children are prone to heavy indictments which are unbearable and cruel. He also stated that these tiny hearts should be educated as they are the future citizens and the treasures of our Country. The special guest of this awareness program Dr.Kapaganti Koti, a lyric writer, stated that India is the only Country with the maximum percent of Child Labour among all the countries in the World. These precious hearts, if sent to the schools, provided with the better education, will definitely show miracles to the Nation which highlights the pride of the Country.  We can have good Scientists, Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers etc from such mighty hearts. He strongly opposed this social crime which is equal to the assault of taking away their primary rights. So the speakers urged the students and the society to save the rights of the children as per the education.
