FIRST AID TRAINING PROGRAM @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

First Aid training and awareness program was conducted at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada under the behest of the NSS team by Indian Red Cross Society, East Godavari District. The President of the program, Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu, Academic Director, Aditya Degree & P.G.Courses, said that having knowledge of First Aid can help to reduce the pain of an individual for instance who is injured. He continued telling that First Aid training is useful for everyone because no one knows when people need them. It may be our family members who can fall sick or get injured, in such condition a victim can be taken care before reaching the hospital, if there is proper knowledge of First Aid . 

The Resource person of the program, Sri Y.Prakash Kumar, A.P State Co-ordinator of PARTNERS FOR RESILIENCE, an International Project, explained the services of Red Cross Society and taught the different and appropriate methods of bandages when a person is injured, applying splints, artificial respiration, treatment for fainting, frostbite, shocks, stings, bites, and burns.  He also said that the first Doctor for an effected person is the person who gives him the First Aid and explained how to provide First Aid and save the people who are caught in the fire accidents, toofans, Road accidents, Snake bites and sudden shocks.

Dr.N.Sesha Reddy, Chairman, Aditya Group of Educational Institutions; Sri.N.Krishna Deepak Reddy, Secretary; appreciated the NSS team of Aditya Degree College and Youth Red Cross Society for conducting this program. Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu, Academic Director, Aditya Degree & P.G.Courses, Sri Ch.V.V.Satyanarayana, Vice-Principal, Youth Red Cross Nodal Officers, NSS program officers Sri.T.Tejeswararao, Sri.L.Diwakararao and Students participated in this program.
