No Bag Day & Grandparents Day @APSAMP

The first Saturday being ” No Bag Day ” was a chance for the primary students to involve in various Life Skills Activity. Grandparents Day was Celebrated in a grandeur. It was a show of Affection, Love, Respect towards the elderly. It was refreshing for the elderly couples to visit their Grand Children’s School and being Honoured. In the Games and Quiz Competitions they participated enthusiastically and actively. Children entertained them with Songs and Dances. The importance of Grandparent’s role in developing the child’s personality was told. They were given an opportunity to talk about their grand children and the children were also given a chance to speak about them. Kindergarten students joyously participated in the preparation of Fruit Salad. Surprising gifts were given to the grandparents. The programme ended with the felicitation of grandparents.
The Principal Smt.Jaya Lakshmi garu appreciated the activities and suggested that grandparents are the source of experience, wisdom,affection, kindness, patience, humour and comfort. We should look after them well and make their life comfortable.
