AWARENESS PROGRAM ON DENGUE & MEDICINE DISTRIBUTION @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

In association with Sri Maniki Reddy Health Care Foundation, the NSS teams of Aditya Degree College had organized an Awareness program on Dengue fever and its severity preceding with the distribution of Medicine. Presiding over the program, the President Dr.B.E.V.L.Naidu said that DENGUE fevers are becoming viral these days and many people are being affected to this virus. He explained them that DENGUE is caused by a virus which is transmitted AEDES MOSQUITOES mainly from stagnated surroundings and water. So every individual should put their surroundings clean which can prevent the existing of mosquitoes, besides using many mosquito preventive substances like jet coils, all out, mosquito bats. He also suggested that Drinking water have to be boiled and cooled before using so that these measures will prevent from the spread of DENGUE fevers in the society. The Chief Guest of the program Dr.SuryaKiran Saladi, Sri Surya Homeo Hospital, stated that it is the responsibility of the students to make the citizens understand the necessity and the outcome of cleanliness. So he gave a call to the students to take up the task in developing their society as disease free society. He also suggested them that curing the viral diseases through homeo medicine treats the best without any side effects than allopathy. Later, the homeo medicine was distributed to the students. The guest of honor, member of the NSS advisory committee Dr. Maniki Reddy Satyanarayana also explained the students how to use the medicine.
