BERNHARD RIEMANN 193rd BIRTH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

George Friedrich Bernhard Riemann, an influential German Mathematician’s birthday was celebrated grandly at Aditya Degree College. He made an everlasting and revolutionary contribution in Analysis, Number Theory, and Differential Geometry. In the field of real analysis, he is mostly known for the first rigorous formulation of the integral, the Riemann integral, and his work on Fourier series. Addressing the students, on this account, Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu stated that Mathematics has got a key importance in the present scenario in which great scientists like Ramanujan, Aryabhatta and others had contributed a lot to make it important and necessary, among the sciences, in every field. Sri U.Mallikharjunarao, HOD of Mathematics of Aditya Degree College stated that the present World is running in the footsteps of Mathematics and gave a call to the youngsters to concentrate more in Mathematics and to become great Researchers & Scientists in the field of Mathematics. He also suggested the students to learn Mathematics as it became the integral part of the Government examinations. Later, prizes and certificates were given to the winners of the competitions, conducted in regard with the celebrations. Aditya Group of Educational institutions Chairman, Sri N.SeshaReddy; Secretary Sri.N.Krishna Deepak Reddy appreciated the winners in the competition.
