CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE 52nd NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK CELEBRATIONS @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

The Valediction of the 52nd National Library Week was programmed on 20th November in a grand manner at Aditya Degree College. Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu, the Academic Director, the President of the program, along with the Chief Guest Sri.Sunkara Gopalayya, the Head of the Department of Telugu, P.R.Govt Degree College and a famous poet, started the program by lightening the lamp and a prayer song. The President of the program stated that the importance of Libraries is still the way they are even in this Digital and Technological era. Libraries give a lot of space for the readers to sit pleasantly and to go through a number of references on a particular topic. He suggested the students to go through the daily news papers and to protect the existence of libraries in the future. The Chief Guest of the function giving his remarks stated that Libraries serves as the treasures of knowledge and wisdom for the development of an individual. He gave a call to the students to utilize the Library resources and to read more number of books such as the biographies of great personalities, competitive, personality development, literature and so on. Later mementos and certificates were given to the winners who had secured first, second and third prizes in different events like Quiz, Elocution, Essay writing and Painting. Dr.N.Sesha Reddy, Chairman; Sri.N.Krishna Deepak Reddy, Secretary, Aditya Educational Institutions, appreciated the Chief Librarian SVR Prabhakar and the Assistant Librarians for organizing the Library Week. Smt.K.Karuna, Principal, Aditya Degree College for Women, Smt.D.Beulah and Smt S.Suma, Principals of Aditya MCA & MBA Schools, Sri.Ch.V.V.Satyanarayana, Vice-Principal, the other Librarians G.Nerella Reddy, S.Manujula Rani, K.Suryanarayana, P.Polarao, N.Arun, Bharathi, Vijayalakshmi and the students participated in the program.
