NATIONAL CONSTITUTION DAY @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

The Constitution Day (National Law Day), also known as Samvidhan Divas, is celebrated at Aditya Degree College. The program started by a prayer song and later the dignitaries garlanded the portrait of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar. The President of the program, Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu, the Academic Director stated that the Samvidhan Divas was celebrated in India on 26th November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. In 1949 exactly on this day the frame work of the constitution was approved after struggling for two years 11 months 18 days from then to design the biggest constitution in the World and this is the reason, the day is celebrated as National Law Day. The Guest of Honor, Sri Vinjamuri Radhakrishna, expert in Political Sciences, explained the students about the Law, the Prelude, the Duties, Rights, the Directive Principles of the Constitution. Later, he answered to the questions posed by the students on his description. The winners of the Elocution competition distributed prizes through the hands of the Guest of honor. Dr.N.Sesha Reddy, Chairman; Sri.N.Krishna Deepak Reddy, Secretary, Aditya Educational Institutions, appreciated the NSS team for organizing the program. Sri.Ch.V.V.Satyanarayana, Vice-Principal; Sri.N.Murthy, Incharge; NSS program officers, Sri.T.Tejeswararao, Sri.L.Diwakararao and students participated in this program.
