MATHEMATICS THE KING OF SCIENCES

Mathematics stands as the King of Sciences. On account of the 127^th Birthday of Sri.Srinivasa Ramanujan, Mathematics Fest was programmed by the Mathematics Department, at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada. The program started with the lightening of the lamp and a Prayer song, there by garlanding the portrait of Sri.Srinivasa Ramanujan by the dignitaries and the Chief Guest. Speaking with due respects, Dr.C.H.C.S.V.V.Ramanamurthy recalled the Scientists of Bharatiya Veda Ganitham and wished that the students should show more enthusiasm and interest and become Great Scientists like Aryabhatta, Srinivasaramanujan. The Academic Director Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu stated that the competitive World today is totally based on Mathematics. Those who can have good skills in Mathematics can achieve good jobs even in the Government sector as well. So, he gave a call to the students to learn Mathematics prominently. Later, prizes were given to the students for the various competitions conducted in this regard through the hands of the Chief Guest.
