MICRO FIESTA – 2K19 @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

The Department of Microbiology of Aditya Degree College had organized a fest in Microbiology, named MICRO FIESTA-2K19 commemorating the birthday of the greatest Scientist of Microbiology Mr.Louis Pasteur, France. The Fest started by lightening the lamp followed by the prayer song. The Chief Guest of the Fest Dr.K.Aruna, Head of the department of the department of Microbiology, ASD Womens Degree College, Kakinada. She garlanded the portrait of Mr.Louis Pasteur and stated that the process of Pasteurization and the medicine for Rabies, the Dog bite, was invented by him which made him to be the father of Microbiology. She also stated that studies in Microbiology is useful for the Research on Microbes and its mechanism is mere very important these days in the fields of medicine as well as other constituents in relation with it. So, she gave a call to the students to develop interest and learn the subject & the techniques very well and to become the Scientists for the benefit of the Nation. Later, prizes were distributed to the winners of the competitions like Quiz, Poster presentation & Power Point presentation which were conducted in regard with this Fest. Aditya Group of Institutions, Chairman, Sri N.Sesha Reddy; Secretary, Sri N.Krishna Deepak Reddy appreciated the Department of Microbiology for conducting the Fest; Vice Principal, Sri Ch.V.V.Satyanarayana; the HOD of Microbiology Sri.V.Anil; the faculty members D.Madhavi RatnaPriya, B.Sri Niharika, K.Sai Charitha and the students of Microbiology participated in the Fest.
