FINANCIAL PLANNING WORKSHOP BY PROF. S.TEKI, PROFESSOR OF ADI KAVI NANNAYA UNIVERSITY

                The Principal of College of Management Studies, Adikavi Nannaya University Dr. S. Teki conducted a workshop for the final year BBM (Bachelor of Business Management) degree students of Aditya Degree College, Kakinada. Giving this information, the Academic Coordinator of Aditya Degree and PG College Shri BEVL Naidu told that Dr. Teki conducted the workshop on ‘Financial planning and Education for students’. He said that Dr. Teki advised the students not to restrict themselves thinking that their studies will get a job but they also can become job provider by investing.

            The Head of the Department of Management Studies and Principal of Arts and Commerce, Adikavi Nannaya University Dr. S. Teki on this occasion spoke to the students of BBM final year regarding the job opportunities of the present market and also said that management students are given more priority. Prof. Teki discussed the importance of savings and investments for the students. He also suggested the students to think about investing and getting more profit in the market. He inspired the students by saying ‘PAY now and PLAY later or PLAY now and PAY later’. He suggested to invest in Bonds and Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs). He also explained the effect of inflation and why it is necessary to make good investment with savings. He also stressed the need to think Eco-friendly way by reducing the use of plastics and paper too. He appreciated the Aditya Degree College management for conducting so many programme like workshops, seminars and Industrial tours and also congratulated them for running the course successfully.

            The Secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions, Shri NK Deepak Reddy informed that Aditya Educational Institutions are running the BBM course at Aditya Degree College successfully. He also said that several seminars, industrial tours, discussion forums and workshops are conducted with the help of experts in the field of management and called the students to make use of them effectively. He also said that with the motivation, the BBM students are running a magazine too.

            The Vice Principal of Aditya Degree College, Dr. A. Maniprakash, the faculty members of Management department Smt. A.Anjana Devi and Ms. Shilpa and the students of final year BBM participated in the event.
