MATHS DAY CELEBRATIONS@ADITYA, SRINAGAR
The birth anniversary of Indian pride Sri Srinivasa Ayangar Ramanujam the most celebrated mathematical genius, is being observed as National Mathematics day on 22nd December.
As a part of these celebrations, Aditya observes December as a month of mathematics under the theme “ Metha Play” to lay foundation for mathematical tempo, which gratifies the thinking about the need of learning “ this king of subjects “.
In this connection, we conducted an exclusive Maths quest an inter – school Quiz competition on Dec 22nd 2013. Aditya’s sister concern Aditya Talent School stood as winners in this competition. Though the host school stood as runners, it was not taken into consideration and the Narayana Techno School who stood in Third place was given runners prize.
Chief Guest Sri. P. Satyanarayana (Rtd) M.E.O. and D.I. of School declare open the book Matha Ploy – a book on mathematics updates and information and witnessed the Quiz programme and appreciated the Maths department for their ease in conducting the Quiz programme so efficiently. An interesting Seminar by Mr. Krishna Kailas psychology from Banglore was the other attraction of the day. He mesmerized the students with his valuable tips and techniques on memory skills.
Speakings on the occasion Director Smt. N. Sruthi Reddy, Principal Smt. M. Ramani and vice Principal Smt. N. Sridevi Reddy of Aditya School congratulated the maths department on the grand success of Maths Quest.
