MATHS DAY CELEBRATIONS@AMP SCHOOL

A special assembly was held on the occassion of National Maths Day. The celebrations commenced with an informative speech on the milestones in the life of Sri Srinivas Ramanujan by the students.
The presentation of digits and the rules for the usage of abacus were explained for the receptive audience. The logic questions asked by one of the students of std. viii spell bound the audience to strain their brain.
The word ‘ MANTRA ‘  was expanded to depict “ concentration leads to success”. To mark the clebrations, tips to creat interest in Maths were given. The assembly was concluded with a explanation that memory is not a power but a habit.
The principal Mrs. Jayalakshmi appreciated the Mathematics team members and students for special mention of positive traits towards the subject.
