Ganesh Chaturdi Rally @ Aditya, G.Mamidada

We at Aditya School, G.Mamidada, conducted rally in G.Mamimada, Bikkavolu and Pedapudi villages to create awareness about the disadvantages of Ganesh idols which are made up of plaster of paris. Children raised slogans all along the streets and distributed clay idols to the Government offices and residents of these villages. They do explained briefly how we are polluting our environment by using chemicals filled Ganesh idols instead of clay idols on Ganesh Chaturdi. In connection to this previous day we had conducted a seminar for primary students about how to make a clay idol of Ganesh and also gave practical demonstration of immersion of clay idol and coloured idol.
