Aditya Degree College students excel in Acharya Nagarjuna University Common Entrance Test – 2014

            Aditya Degree College students excel in Acharya Nagarjuna University Common Entrance Test – 2014. The students of Aditya Degree Colleges secured 35 below 10 ranks in 8 different subjects. Giving this information, the Academic Coordinator Shri BEVL Naidu opined that whatever the Common Entrance Test it might be Aditya Degree College students are sweeping the entire lion’s share of the ranks. He reminded of recent fete of Aditya Degree College students who secured top five ranks of Andhra University B.Sc and B.Com ranks.

Nearly 9,000 students of 150 Degree colleges attended the Acharya Nagarjuna University Entrance test and out of them Aditya Degree College students secured 35 ranks below 10. The subject wise ranks secured by Aditya Degree Colleges are as follows:

Computer Science    :           1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10,11

Electronics                 :           1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9

Statistics                     :           2,4,6,8

Biotechnology            :           1,10

Microbiology              :           1,2,9

Physics                         :          8

In Computer science, Mr. D.Suneel Kumar got first rank and Mr. Praveen, Mr. Shakeel, Mr. Pavan, Mr. Subrahmanyam, Ms. Tasneem, Mr. Srikanth, Ms. Varalakshmi secured 2^nd,3^rd 5^th ,6^th ,7^th ,8^th ,10^th ranks respectively.

In Mathematics Ms. C.D. Prasanna Lakshmi won first rank and Ms. Mahalakshmi, Ms. Swarnalatha, Ms. Jyothi, Ms. Visalakshi and Ms. Lalitha secured 2^nd ,3^rd ,4^th ,6^th ,7^th  ranks.

In Electronics Ms. K. Madhavilatha got first rank and Ms. MVL Madhubala and Mr. chowdary secured 4^th ranks.

In Statistics Mr. L. Rajesh, Mr. K. Suribabu, Mr. CVN Sairam, Ms. C. Srilekha secured 2^nd, 4^th, 6^th and 8^th ranks respectively.

In Biotechnology Ms. A. Keerthana got 1^st rank and Ms. G. Anusha got 10^th rank.

In Microbiology Ms. Y.L. Prathyusha got 1^st rank and Mr. B.Satish kumar and J. Gayathri got 2^nd and 9^th rank repetively.

In Biochemistry Ms. A Keerthana got 4^th rank.

In Physics Mr. B. Ravi kumar got 8^th rank.

A programme was held to congratulate the rank winners and the faculty and Head of the Departments of Aditya Degree College. On this occasion the Academic Coordinator Shri BEVL Naidu appreciated the Head of the Departments and the faculty members by handovering bouquet who trained the students and made them secure good ranks. The rank winners were given with mementoes.

The Secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions Shri NK Deepak Reddy and the Chairman Shri N. Sesha Reddy congratulated the rankers of ANU CET – 2014 and opined that in Aditya Degree Colleges, the quality of education is highlighted by securing such ranks. They opined that the rankers could able to bring good name in state level for the college.

The Head of the Department of Computer Sciences Mr. V.S.N. Kumar, the Head of the Department of Mathematics Shri U. Mallikharjuna Rao and the Head of the Department of Electronics Mr. M. Srinivasa Rao and other faculty members, Shri C. Satyanarayana,Shri M. Janaki Ramarao, Shri G. Srikanth, Shri V.Srinivasa Rao and other members were appreciated for their training provided to the students.
