Traffic Rules awareness programme was organized at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada
Traffic Police have conducted Awareness campaign on Traffic rules to Aditya Degree College, Kakinada. Giving this information, the Academic Coordinator of Aditya Degree and PG Colleges, Shri BEVL Naidu informed that the students of Aditya Degree College were fortunate to get such awareness about the traffic rules by Traffic police. He also said that students should know about these rules which are very important as they encounter the traffic related issues every day. He also opined that with such of these programmes, the relations between the students and traffic police will improve further.
The Circle Inspector of Traffic Police station -2, Kakinada Shri G.V.V. Satyanarayana on this occasion spoke to the students. He on this occasion gave numerous examples where the students especially break the traffic rules. He also advised the students not to ride the bikes with that much speed which leads to serious accidents. He gave a detailed explanation regarding the family related issues arise after accidents. He told the students to stick to the traffic rules and regulations to avoid the fines. He told that with silly reasons the students will be paying more fines and thus wasting the hard earnings of the parents. He advised the students to avoid bike racing and have a healthy driving habit. He finally gave a call to the students to feel following the traffic rules as a social responsibility. On this occasion several short films were shown to the students. Shri Jagannadha Raju of KRIA NGO also participated in the programme and advised the students regarding the rash driving and told the students how important is life.
The Secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions Shri NK Deepak Reddy finally told that students to take the driving habit as a serious issue and do follow the traffic ethics. He also thanked the traffic police personnel for creating awareness about the traffic rules and regulations and the subsequent fines if they are broken. He opined that with these kinds of programmes the relations between the traffic police and the public will improve.
The Vice Principal of Aditya Degree College Dr. Maniprakash and the teaching and non teaching members along with the two wheeler holding students of Aditya Degree College participated in the programme.
