Kakinada Aditya Degree College B.B.M Industrial visit to Visakha Steel Plant

Kakinada Aditya Degree College second year B.B.M students visited the Visakha Steel Plant as a part of their academics. The Academic Coordinator of Aditya Degree and PG Colleges, Shri BEVL Naidu flagging off the programme said that not many degree colleges encourage industrial tours for the degree colleges, but at Aditya Degree College the students are given a chance to visit different industries. He also opined that these industrial trips will provide exposure to present market conditions.

The Chairman of Aditya Educational Institutions, Shri N Sesha Reddy on this occasion said that the management course like B.B.M is being prestigiously run at Aditya Degree Colleges and according to the academic requirement, the students are given a chance to visit industries through which they will get more awareness about the materials required for production, the production process, the safety precautions taken by the industry, the measures taken by industry to improve the marketability of their product and total manpower use for these processes etc., Shri Sesha Reddy also thanked Shri C. Sambasiv Rao, Admin Head of the Security Department of Visakha Steel Plant for cooperating with the students and for explaining the process at the plant.

The industrial tour was accompanied by the faculty member of Department of Management Smt Niharika and the Vice Principal of Aditya Degree College Dr. A. Maniprakash coordinated programme.
