Sankranthi celebrations, have been celebrated at our Aditya Village J.K.pur in a devotional and traditional way. Children in traditional attire took part in the festivities with fervour. Our students transformed school premises into a village environment, drawing rangoli patterns and decorated the stage with bommala koluvu. Smt. N. Shruthi Reddy madam began celebrations and offered prayers to Goddess Lakshmi. Since this harvest festival is all about revisiting tradition.

The Bhogi flames, Haridasu chanting Keerthanas and the ritual of Bhogi pallu on children made the campus alive. Students sang the traditional sankranthi songs and kept everyone in gay tone. A string of competitions like Rangoli, Thokkudu billa, kalashalankarana, deepalankarana, Nela banda, chinta pikkalata and making kites etc were conducted to the parents and prizes were distributed by Smt. Reddy madam secretary Aditya Group of hostels and Smt. N. Suguna madam director Aditya Global business school. Behalf of Sankranti we created the sankranthi village and Bommala koluvu were admired everyone. Parents opined that this model village brought real festive mood to the occasion.The pongal revelry resonated students, creating a rare buzz by participating in Kabbadi and Tug of war etc.

            Founder of Aditya institutions Sri N. Sesha Reddy garu and other guests of Nepal visited our Aditya village, participated in different games, encouraged everyone and shared their joy. Principal madam addressed the gathering that these celebrations were part of the schools endeavour to develop the students into rounded personalities. School management, principal and the staff wished everyone a happy and joyful Sankranthi.
