Blood donation programme conducted on third day of Skill Development special NSS camp at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada
On the third day of Skill Development special camp being organized by the NSS units of Aditya Degree College, Kakinada Blood donation programme was conducted. Giving this information, the Academic Coordinator Shri BEVL Naidu said that with the increased awareness on blood donation, the donors numbers should also increase and he opined that at the times of emergency like fire accidents and other road accidents etc., such blood requirement can be met through such camps.
The NSS district programme officer Dr. P.V. Krishnarao on this occasion said that students should donate blood in order to save lives. The Advisory member of NSS division of Adikavi Nannaya University Shri Manikreddy Satyanarayana gave a call to the students that they should come forward for blood donation and should have healthy habits. He also said that the future requirement of blood needs to be supplemented with such camps. He on this occasion congratulated the 40 NSS blood donors. The NSS Units of Aditya Degree College thanked the NSS Coordinator of Adikavi Nannaya university Shri Kiranchand.
The Chairman of Aditya Educational Institutions, Shri N. Sesha Reddy and the Secretary Shri NK Deepak Reddy congratulated the NSS blood donors and also appreciated the NSS units of Aditya Degree College for conducting such programme.
The Rotary Health care Chairman Shri P. Chiranjeevi Reddy, Kakinada Golden Jubilee Secretary Shri Varma, the medical officer Shri Kamaraju and staff conducted the blood donation programme at Aditya Degree College.
On the eve of NSS Skill Development special camp, Singing and Poetery competitions were conducted and winners were announced. The Vice Principal of Aditya Degree College, Dr. Maniprakash and the NSS Programme Officers Shri T. Tejeswara Rao and Shri L. Divakara Rao and NSS students volunteers conducted the programmed.
