Vanamahotsavam Celebrations@apsamp1

As a part of Vanamahotsavam a weeklong celebrations, saplings were planted in the campus like Gulmohar, Banyan, Teak,Flowering plants like Rose, Hibiscus etc.
Children decorated a model of a tree with natural leaves to show the significance of trees with slogans like Vanam – Manam and Nava Bharathi – Jana Harathi. Activities related to Vanamahotsavam were presented in the assembly.
The Principal Smt.Jaya Lakshmi, gave an opportunity for the students to bring their own saplings to be planted in the campus. She inspired the students to prevent Global Warming and to Reduce Pollution. And she also advised, “ One who Plants a Tree, Plants Hope.”
