INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION @ APSJKP
The 71st Independence day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at Aditya school jkpur. The ceremony started at 8:30 a.m. in the school open ground with large crowd of staff, students and parents.
To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, the chief guest hoisted the tri colour flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem. G.Keerthi and K.Lakshmi Prasanna of Std. IX & X shared their views on the significance of the day and contemporary issues. The speeches enlightened the gathering and filled their hearts with patriotism. Some of the exuberant students enhanced the spirit of nation pride by singing a couple of patriotic songs that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our mother land. The dignitaries received the presidential salute from young adityans in the form of March – Past which stood a special attraction in the entire event.
The chief guest Dr.P.P.Chattarjee MBBS DNB, Ortho, consulting Doctor Apollo Hospitals, spoke on the occasion and stated that students should think creatively and innovatively to make their parents dreams come true. He told children to avoid wasting water and follow the sanitary measures. Principal Smt.B.Supraja Rani addressed the gathering that students should respect one another, be selfless in their service. She asked everyone to be kind to others and help the needy. Prizes (Gold & Silver medals) were distributed to the Olympiad winners of Science, Maths & English in the district, state & national levels. The program concluded with the dance of equality by Std. IX & X girls and the rhythmic pyramid show of Std. X boys which echoed the nation’s strength at the school premises. Sweets were distributed among the children at the end.
