Kakinada Aditya Degree Colleges conducted a rally on ‘Saving Electricity’

            Kakinada Aditya Degree Colleges conducted a rally on ‘Saving Electricity’. On this occasion, the Academic Coordinator of Aditya Degree and PG Colleges Shri BEVL Naidu opined that due to increase in use of electricity and simultaneously decrease in electricity production might be the reason for present power cuts in our State. He also said that this rally is being organized to increase the awareness among the public and he also said that the present increased power cuts are making the public and also the small and medium industries disturbed. He also opined that though we are not aware whether we will be able to help the future generations in solving the electricity problems, we have to make sure that we use the available electricity legibly and also should change the dependency on non renewable energy resources like solar energy, Wind energy and wave energy.

The Director of Aditya Educational Institutions, Smt. N. Lakshmi Rajyam flagged off the rally of Aditya Degree College students. This rally started from Vinayaka Café centre to Balaji Cheruvu junction. The Secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions, Shri NK Deepak Reddy opined that every citizen must save the Electricity and the ‘Electricity saved is Electricity generated’ he added. He opined that during old times the electronic domestic gadgets are less in number and that’s why there were no awareness programmes on wastage or saving of electricity, but at present since the population has been increased and it substantially increased the electricity consumption, Aditya Degree College students taken up a rally to increase the awareness among public about saving electricity.  He appreciated the efforts of students in this matter.

The participated students gave slogans like ‘Electricity saved is Electricity generated’, ‘Change should start from us’, ‘Let us grow more tress and get fresh air’, ‘Let us reduce the consumption of Electricity’, ‘Let us see the ways of Electricity saving’, ‘Why worry when there is solar energy’ and tried to improve the awareness among public about saving Electricity.

The rally was attended by Aditya Degree College for Women Ms. K. Karuna, the Vice Principal of Aditya Degree College, Dr. A. Maniprakash , the NSS programme officers of Aditya Degree Colleges, Shri T. Tejeswara Rao, Shri L. Diwakara Rao, Dr.U. Srinivasa Rao, Ms. Bhuvana and the Placements executive Mr. Avinash participated in the programme.
