STARUSTA-2K19 – A STATE LEVEL STATISTICS EVENT

Aditya Degree College, Gopalapatnam grandly celebrated Statistics event “STARUSTA-2K19” on 24^th July, 2019 at Kumari Kalyana Mandapam.

The programme began auspiciously with a prayer song and lighting of the lamp. The hall was filled with students of around 22 different colleges. It was a feast to the eyes to see students dressed at their best. Around 250 students registered for the various events organized.

The students were privileged to have Chief guest Prof. B. Muniswamy, Director of Population Research Organization, Guest of Honour Sri. S S N Murthy, Senior Statistical Officer, Principal, Aditya Degree College, Gopalapatnam Shri. K Murali Mohan Rao, Principal, Aditya Women’s Degree College, Gopalapatnam Shri. N H Satish Kumar and HOD Smt. M Swapnalatha, Shri. G Vinay on the dais.

The dignitaries’ speeches were motivational and informative. The students were given an insight to the various fields of statistics in the industrial arena and its importance for their future endeavour.

Students enthusiastically participated in events like Quiz, PPT, Picture Presentation and Puzzle Solving. The Aditya students meticulously conducted the events. They were applauded for their discipline and smooth conduction of every event.

The awardees of all the competitions were beaming with joy while receiving their laurels.

Literary talents were showcased in the form of the magazine “Sankhyika”. This magazine was released by all the dignitaries on the dais.

President of STARUSTA-2K19 Shri. K Murali Mohan Rao felicitated the Guests. The formal function was completed with a vote of thanks.

The icing of the cake was the grand cultural show. Everyone was awestruck to view the variety in each dance. All the students of other colleges appreciated the staff and management for a delightful day of knowledgeable speeches, entertainment and sumptuous meal.

STARUSTA-2K19 ended on a happy note with the combined effort of all staff and students.
