GRAND NATIONAL SPORTS DAY CELEBRATIONS AT ADITYA SCHOOL,PALAKOL

Aditya School, Palakol has turned out to be the venue for the National Sports Day. In this connection, many sports and games have been conducted for the students of all classes. The students have shown overflowing zeal, passion and excitement. The sports meet witnessed a nail–biting performances in all events like Musical Chairs, Lemon and Spoon, Running Race, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volley Ball, Shot–Put etc. The Director Shree S.V.Raghava Reddy presided over the function. The function began with the arrival of the Chief Guest Shree G.Veeraswamy, the former A.P. under 19 Cricket all rounder and present working P.D. The Chief Guest along with the Director and the Principal paid the floral tributes to Major Dhyan Chand and lighted the lamps. It was followed by Ganapathi Sloka by class IX girls with great adoration. Prizes and certificates were given away to all the winners in sports and games. In his speech, the Director opined that every student must play at least 1 hour a day to be fit and healthy. He congratulated all the winners on their success. He also appreciated the P.E.T.s for their efforts in conducting the sports meet. The Chief Guest advised the students to participate in sports and games to enhance their concentration towards studies. The Principal extended his gratitude to teaching and non-teaching staff to make this event success.
