BLOOD DONATION PROGRAM @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

A Blood Donation program was organized under the supervision of  Youth Red Cross Wing at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada. As a part of the program totally 120 students and the faculty donated their blood extending their humanity. The program was organized under the supervision of Dr.P.Kamaraju, Rotary Blood Bank Medical Officer and the organizers of the Rotary Blood Bank. The Chief Guest of the program, Aditya Educational Institutions, Director, Smt.Suguna Reddy told that the human body regenerates the blood after few days with the reproducing new cells. It is a healthy process which defines that a person is fit and strong. She also appreciated the NSS volunteers, Unit officers of Aditya Degree College for organizing such a great program. Speaking on the occasion Aditya Degree and P.G.Colleges, Academic Director, Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu, told that donating the blood is mere saving the life of the person and there is no sufficient blood available in the blood banks to save the people those who are in need of it. In regard with that he raised upon a slogan “Donate blood and become the saviors”.  So for this he gave a call to the students to be very active and socio conscious to take up their responsibilities for the better society. He appreciated Smt.S.Suma, Principal of the School of Management, the campus in charge N.Murthy and the students for donating the blood.

Aditya Group of Institutions, Chairman, Sri N.Sesha Reddy; Secretary, Sri N.Krishna Deepak Reddy; appreciated the students and the faculty for donating the blood. Aditya Degree College, Principal, Sri Ch.V.V.Satyanarayana, Smt.D.Beulah, Smt.S.Suma, the members of the Rotary Club, the member of the Advisory committee, AKNU, Dr.Maniki Reddy Satyanarayana, NSS program officers Sri T.Tejeswara rao, Sri L.Diwakararao and the NSS student volunteers of the Red Cross Wing participated.
