INTERNATIONAL ANTI DRUGS DAY @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

To raise awareness and to fight against the substance abuse as well as the unlawful trade of drugs, an International Anti Drugs Day was organized under the behest of the NSS team at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada. Speaking on the issue, Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu said that in order to create effective response to tackle the problem of drugs, accountable institutions of criminal justice, health and social services should work together to provide integrated solutions. He gave a call to the students to emphasize the need of strong health. The Chief guest of the program Dr.A.Srinivas, Lecturer in JNTU stated that NSS plays a key role in building up once mental and personal abilities and development and it is the youth of today, who have to analyze and understand, to be away from the social evil like Drug addiction without destroying one’s own life and the prosperity of the family. In this regard he raised a slogan, HEALTH FOR THE JUSTICE AND THE JUSTICE FOR HEALTH, given by the United Nations. Dr.Manikireddy Satyanarayana the advisory member of the NSS team, AKNU, opined that it is the responsibility of every individual, to strive hard in building up a healthy INDIA. Dr N.Sesha Reddy, Chairman, Sri N.Krishna Deepak Reddy, Secretary, Aditya Educational Institutions, Sri Ch.V.V Satyanarayana, Vice Principal, appreciated the NSS team on this occasion. NSS program officers, Sri.T.Tejeswararao and L.Diwakararao, NSS volunteers and students participated in this program.
