Telugu Basha Dinotsavam celebrated at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada

      ‘You should not forget Mother and should not leave mother tongue’  – this is the call given by the Academic coordinator of Aditya Degree and PG College Shri BEVL Naidu. On this occasion, he opined that  every human being should work hard to protect the mother tongue as it’s protection is in the hands of him. He also said to remember the great emperor Srikrishna Devaraya’s words that ‘Telugu is great’.

On this occasion, the Sanskrit and Telugu Pandit Shri Mallampalli Amareswara Prasad attended the function as chief guest and initiated this programme by lighting the lamp. He also said that people are trying to avoid telugu which is a bad sign and also opined that they should treat mother tongue with utmost respect.. He also said that he could not able to see many good writings which are named ones at present. He requested the Government of Andhra Pradesh to take up necessary precautions to protect the telugu language. He gave a call to recruit incharges for the Telugu Basha Association. He gave a call to the students to learn the mother tongue and should see that the greatness this language reaches across the world.

The Secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions, Shri NK Deepak Reddy opined that the Telugu people are lucky as they can learn any language very easy as their mother tongue is ‘Telugu’. He reinstated that it should be protected and should be proudly handed over to the next generation.

The Telugu faculty member of Aditya Degree College, Shri T.Tejeswara Rao on this occasion thanked the Chairman and sitting MLA of Anaparthy constituency Shri N. Sesha Reddy for his support throughout the academics to improvise Telugu. He also said that many steps have been taken to protect Telugu at Aditya Educational Institutions.

On the occasion of Telugu Basha Dinotsavam several competitions like Essay writing, Debate and telugu poetry were conducted and the winners were given away gifts and certificates through the hands of the chief guest.

The Principal of Aditya Degree College for women Smt. K. Karuna, the Vice Principal of Aditya Degree College, Dr. A. Maniprakash, the telugu students of Aditya Degree College attended the programme and made it a success.
