BASIC FIRST AID TRAINING, SANKRANTHI CELEBRATION

As a part of the NSS special camp, on the sixth day, First Aid training and awareness program was conducted at Komaragiri and Nagampeta villages under the behest of the NSS team by Indian Red Cross Society, East Godavari District. The Resource person of the program, Sri Y.Prakash Kumar, A.P State Co-ordinator of PARTNERS FOR RESILIENCE, an International Project, explained the services of Red Cross Society and taught different and appropriate methods of bandages when a person is injured, applying splints, artificial respiration, treatment for fainting, frostbite, shocks, stings, bites, and burns.  He also said that the first Doctor for an effected person is the person who gives him the First Aid and explained how to provide First Aid and save the people who are caught in the fire accidents, toofans, Road accidents, Snake bites and sudden shocks. After the awareness program Sankranthi was celebrated depicting the Indian Culture & tradition in the camp. The NSS program Coordinator of Adikavi Nannaya University Dr.B.Kejiarani; Aditya Educational Institutions Chairman, Dr.N.Sesha Reddy; Secretary, Sri N.Krishna Deepak Reddy, Academic Director Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu and Vice-Principal Sri.Ch.V.V.Satyanarayana appreciated the NSS team of Aditya Degree College. The villagers and the NSS Volunteers participated in the campaign.
