Visit to Vejjeswaram Power Plant by Students of Aditya Degree College for Women,Kakinada.

Smt. K. Karuna Principal of Aditya Degree College for Women, Kakinada informed that their 3rd year students of B.Sc (MEC) visited Vejjeswaram Power Plant near Rajahmundry.

She declared that their students are not only the fore runners in education, but in all fronts, including literary and fine arts activities.As an integral part of their activity they visited Vijjeswaram Gas Turbo Power Plant at Rahahmundry and came to an understanding on the process for distribution of power. The chief security officer Sri G. Srinivas explained in detail about the functioning and appraised the students on the precautionary measures to be taken in the plant. The engineers in the plant described in detail about the functioning of the plant and explained the students about the steps taken to keep the atmosphere away from pollution.

The students expressed their happiness over the visit to the plant and for gaining knowledge regarding the process adopted for generation of power. They took a pledge to contribute their mite for saving power.

In this programme Head of Electronics Department Sri M. Srinivasa Rao and physical Director Miss. G. Sree Jyothi along with students participated.
