ETROIED – 2014 Tech Fest Was Organized At Aditya Degree College, Kakinada

            Kakinada Aditya Degree College, organized the Electronics fest ‘ETROIED (Effective Thinking and Research on Innovative Electronic Designing) – 2014 fest. Giving this information the Academic Coordinator Shri BEVL Naidu said that students who select Electronics in Degree will have more employment opportunities. Students should not stop with only class room learning and he opined that Exhibitions, PowerPoint presentations and Seminars like these will be helpful in practical learning. The exhibition on Electronics is inaugurated by the Placement Officer of Aditya Educational Institutions, Shri Ravi Chandra, the Information Technology wing head of the department Shri Kumar and the Academic Coordinator Shri BEVL Naidu. On this occasion Shri Naidu opined that such exhibitions can happen in only Engineering colleges, where as this is organized specially for the sake of Degree students at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada. With the  help of the equipment available in the college and with the help of the faculty members, the students should make many more innovations and also new experiments in the field of Electronics. This exhibition as visited by all the Electronics students of Aditya Degree Colleges.

The Chief guest of the function and the Associate professor of Ideal College of Engineering Shri NCS Murthy said that Electronics is a wonderful field for new innovations and new research works. He remembered his work as Head of the Department of Electronics at Aditya Degree College and said that this college is having all such facilities which are required for undergraduates and also said that other colleges. The exhibits which are present in the exhibition of ETROIED like Mini solar power supply, Function generator, Rain alarm, Fire alarm, Moisture sensor, Electronic cricket, Automatic street lamps, Music that can be controlled with snap/clap, sensor to alert regarding the fillup of water tank, mobile phone sensor, protective alarm for banks and houses, low cost intercom phone etc., really made him impressive. He said that such exhibition by Degree students was never visited by him.

The Secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions, Shri NK Deepak Reddy and the Director of Aditya Educational Institutions Smt. N.Suguna Reddy appreciated the efforts of the Electronics Head of the Department Shri M. Srinivasa Rao. They opined that Electronics students should come out with some more innovations. The Associate professor Shri NCS Murthy was felicitated by Shri Naidu with a memento.

The Principal of Aditya Degree College for women Smt. K. Karuna and the Vice Principal of Aditya Degree College Dr. A. Maniprakash, the HoD of Electronics Department Sri. M. Srinivasa Rao and the faculty members Shri VSrinivasa Rao and Shri N Kiran and the non teaching faculty members and students participated in the programme.
