A CONFERENCE ON RTI IN ADITYA

A conference on “Right To Information Act” was held in Aditya degree college, rajahmundry on 4-3-2014. Sri. P. Vijay Babu, Commissioner of  AP state RTI Act, was the chief guest for the conference.  Sri S. P Gangi Reddy, Honorable Director of Aditya degree colleges, Rajahmundry presided the conference.

The main aim of the conference is to create an awareness of RTI in the students. Speaking on the occassion, Sri S. P. Gangireddy said that ” RTI is the act which enables us to seek information from the government agencies regarding any  issue related to government or personal”.

The chief guest, sri. P. Vijay Babu said “Mr. Kejriwal, was the activist of RTI,  who focused light on several issues related in government policies”. He also added that using RTI, we can rectify various losses in land procurements during project developments” etc.

Sri M. Sri Rama Murthy, President of East Godavari Journalist Association, particiapated as special guest in the conference.

Principals of Aditya degree colleges, Sri K. C Sagar, Sri Ch. Phani Kumar, Teaching and non teaching staff and students attended the conference.
